Born and raised in Iowa, Bob Davis found his home in Texas in 2017 and never looked back. He writes honest, road-worn country music that Nashville forgot how to make. After a 14-year career in software, he traded the keyboard for a different kind of instrument. In 2026 he placed third for Male Songwriter of the Year at the Texas State Songwriters Association awards, qualifying for the statewide Songwriter of the Year competition in January 2027, the same month his debut single arrives.
